000 Notes for Engine Cores

Engine core notes;

In order that we can continue to offer rebuilt engines on an exchange basis, we require your core back in rebuildable condition. The engines are sold on an exchange basis and will have a core charge added to the purchase price shown.

In order for a core to refunded it must meet several criteria:

-Like for like. Example: If you are purchasing a 2.1L WBX engine a 1.9L WBX core is not a good core.
-Engine must rotate.
-Engine case must be usable. It can have normal wear and tear, and normal corrosion on the outer case.
-Engine must be assembled. Boxes of parts are a no go.
-Engine must be fully drained of oil and coolant, and relatively clean.
-You are responsible for noting your engine case *stamped* number. If in doubt, ask where to find this information, before sending your core.
-Cores must be sent within 90 days of receiving your rebuilt engine.

The value of a core may be diminished if only some components are beyond use, but other are useable. Partial credit will be applied if there are some usable parts. You will receive an email and documentation about your particular core.
