VAN 86-91 2.1L DJ engine

This is the Higher HP Euro spec 2.1L WBX engine. Built in house.

These are the 112 HP version. Premium fuel is required at all times.

- New 94MM DJ spec Mahle pistons and OEM cylinders

- New 30mm oil pump
- German gaskets and sealant throughout
- Proper OE style flywheel seal
- New Water pump (German or Italian)

-This engine greatly benifits from a proper exhaust, Vintage speed recommended.
-This engine also greatly benifits from the newer style injector we carry, and the later ECU with the tuning chip.

We offer a 1 year warranty to the original purchaser, as long as it is installed with all the original VW cooling tin, and installed by a professional. Total timing and fuel mixture must be verified at the time of install. Oil used must contain a Zinc additive, if in doubt we can make a recommendation for you. We want these engines to last a lifetime, as you would expect. Incorrect installation and setup can lead to failures, which are easily avoided.
