OIL GALLEY PLUGS for CRANKSHAFT. The oil galleys drilled into all 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8 crankshafts collect dirt and debris during normal operation. This is because of the centrifugal action to which the oil is subjected to flowing through the crankshaft. The only way to clean the galleys is to remove the standard pressed-in plugs. After the standard plugs are removed, the holes are drilled and tapped for these screw-in plugs. The gunk that accumulates in the galleys is truly amazing. 103_125
