T4 Tin Bus 72-79 Right

EMPI. 2.0L. RIGHT. Bus 72-79, VW Type 4 69-74, Porsche 914 69-76. EMPI engineers have designed all new engine tin for your Type 4 engine that fits like new while protecting cylinder head cooling fins from debris build keeping your engine at optimal operating temperature. These tins have been NLA for many years; so no more junkyard scavenging for used tins to refurb. The EMPI team used 3D scanning to create SolidWorks CAD renderings and 3D printed prototypes which were extensively test fitted to verify accurate fitment.

The completely new cylinder tins are stamped in 1mm thick sheet steel and finished in semi-gloss black paint with M6 X 1.0 welded nuts installed for secure mounting.

These cylinder tins are also compatible with EMPI Super Vee performance cylinder heads as installed on the EMPI 914 and have additional OE apertures for spark plugs and cylinder head temperature sensors. Caps are included for a clean, flush fit free of gaps.
